bystander effect
attended one of the worst meetings ever yesterday.
about 20 people from different areas of expertise gathered together to discuss crisis management.
what was shown to us on the screen were empty cells on a word document all ready to be filled up during the meeting.
it was absolutely inefficient and silly.
suddenly it occurred to me that i was a bystander, and so were many others. it was no surprise that the bystander effect came into place. i really wonder sometimes... how could people of 'high position' allow that to happen? how could they even think that this is the best way to discuss issues?
sigh...wasted few hours of my life just like that.
