we all remember the bed time stories of our childhoods. the shoe fit cinderella, the frog turns into a prince, sleeping beauty is awakened with a kiss. once upon a time and then they lived happily ever after. fairytales, the stuff of dreams. the problem is, fairytales don't come true. it's the other stories, the ones that begin with dark and stormy nights and end in the unspeakable. it's the nightmares that always seem to become reality.
the person that invented the phrase 'happily ever after' should have his ass kicked so hard.
once upon a time. happily ever after. the stories we tell are the stuff of dreams. fairytales don't come true. reality is much stormier, much murkier, much scarier. reality - it's so much more interesting than living happily ever after.

I hate the way you talk to me and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick - It even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh - even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you - not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.
