what glitters...
the diamonds are pretty, naturally.
i don't require them actually.
a simple and fitting ring would suffice,
if the promise behind it lasts for life.

i think i'm quite a simple person,
why then does it seem like
i'm always chasing after the wind?

that which glitters so brightly under the light
may blind me from seeing what glows in the night.
i need light in the dark more than reflected light in the light.
